If you are a student in Grades 8-12, follow the steps below to join the team and start your journey with UPstage.

  1. Fill out the application form, linked to the right.
  2. After submitting the form, a member will reach out to you within 3 business days with more details about the program, including scheduling an interview with one of us!
  3. You will receive more information after the interview, including time requirements, etc,.
  4. Confirm your available time slots, and start volunteering!

Who is eligible to apply?

Any student from any country between Grades 8-12 can volunteer with us.

Is there an application fee?

No! All we need is your passion and dedication.

Are expenses included in trips to schools?

No. All members of UPstage will need to pay for their expenses (transportation, hotels, food, etc). We are simply a platform to connect teens with their passion.

Can I become a board member of UPstage?

Of course! We are always thrilled to welcome new members to our board. Click here to learn more.

Do I need to have a background in theater/education?

No! Experience is great, but not required. What we need is your interest and commitment to the program

Can I volunteer remotely?

Yes! We host monthly sign-ups for new remote classes on top of our physical volunteer programs that happen during breaks.
